‘Living Legacies’ is a video archive of interviews with Holocaust survivors conveying life lessons and their secrets to happiness in order to help young and future generations live their own lives more fully. The series was created by Shira Schwartz.

After volunteering with Holocaust survivors in Israel, Shira was constantly impressed with their positive outlook to life and gratitude to the present moment despite what they had been through. At the same time so many millennials around her were often searching for greener grass and constantly dissatisfied. Shira wanted to create a digital space for this generation to learn life lessons from the survivors in our community.
